Overview In a virtual hearing, all the participants, including the judge or tribunal members, join remotely (from anywhere in the world), using a secure solution that typically includes video conferencing, shared electronic bundle, transcription, and evidence presentation. Although they became mainstream during the recent pandemic, virtual hearings now offer an alternative to in-person hearings to minimise cost, increase efficiency and reduce the environmental impact of dispute resolution proceedings.
